BACKGROUND Los Angeles County Sanitation District Nos. 26 and 32 provide wastewater treatment services cooperatively through the Santa Clarita. Valley Joint Sewerage System. To provide wastewater treatment service to property located outside of the District's service area, the boundary must be expanded through the annexation process. As part of this process, a tax -sharing resolution to provide the required funding to the Sanitation District is adopted by the public agency responsible for providing services to the subject property. Local agencies receiving an apportionment of property tax from the annexing area must determine the amount of tax revenues to be exchanged between the affected agencies. For Annexation No. 342, a total of 1. 1704607 percent of the annual tax increment attributable to the land area involved in the annexation will be transferred to Sanitation District No. 26. This annexation consists of 43 detached condominiums located near the intersection of Rainbow Glen Drive and Avenue of the Oaks in the City of Santa Clarita.
