RESOLUTION NO. 04-91 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA CLARITA, CALIFORNIA, QUITCLARvIING PORTIONS OF STORM DRAIN EASEMENTS, DEDICATED BY TRACT MAP NOS. 52673-01, 45416, AND 46626 IN THE CITY OF SANTA CLARTTA WHEREAS, a portion of a storm drain easement dedicated by Tract Map No. 52673-01, filed in Book 1243, pages 64-72, inclusive of maps, is no longer needed and is determined to be excessive, and the owner is requesting the easement be quitclaimed; and WHEREAS, a portion of a storm drain easement on Lot 183 of Tract Map No. 45416, filed in Book 1262, pages 22-32, inclusive of maps, is no longer needed and is determined to be excessive, and Pardee Homes requests that the easement be quitclaimed; and WHEREAS, portions of a storm drain easement on Lots 27, 28, 130, 132, 133, 134, 137, and 138 of Tract Map No. 46626, filed in Book 1250, pages 31-50, inclusive of maps, are no longer needed and are determined to be excessive, and Richmond American Homes, requests that the excess easements be quitclaimed to each individual owner of record for each of the lots previously mentioned; and WHEREAS, the Los Angeles County Flood Control District has approved the modifications to these easements. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Santa Clarita, California, does resolve, declare, determine, and order as follows: SECTION 1. That it is hereby found and determined that the portions of storm drain easements, as shown on Exhibits "A," "B," and "C" attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference, which real property located in the City of Santa Clarita, County of Los Angeles, State of California, are no longer needed for present or prospective use based on the fact that these storm drain easements have been modified. SECTION 2. That the City Clerk of the City of Santa Clarita is instructed to record the certified original resolution in the office of the Registrar -Recorder of the County of Los Angeles. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 13`h day of July, 2004.
