STORMWATER FEE REPORT
The following annual budget for maintenance includes monthly inspection and
debris removal for clean-out of four outlets to the Santa Clara River.
The Site Specific Storm Drainage Pollution Abatement Fee will include an annual
inflation adjustment in accordance with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for Los
Angeles, Long Beach, and Anaheim, for April of each year.
Outlets into Santa Clara River
The sediment clean-out cost for pipe outlets into the river is assumed to be $1,500
per year for 48 inch and smaller pipe outlets. There are 4 pipe outlets entering the
river from Tract 51931-06, all 12 inches in diameter. None of these pipes are
expected to carry significant amounts of debris in a 50 year storm event and the
treatment devices for the inlets to the pipes will be maintained as prescribed in the
individual parcel owners Standard Urban Storm Water Mitigation Plan (SUSMP).
The City of Santa Clarita will maintain from the outlet in the River to the first
manhole. The County of Los Angeles will maintain the pipes from the first manhole
to the inlets by way of catch basins on the individual parcels.
TOTAL Annual Cost:
4 pipes x $1,500 = $6,000
TOTAL ANNUAL MAINTENANCE BUDGET: $6,000
