A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA CLARITA, CALIFORNIA, STATING THAT NO NON-PROFIT AGENCIES
ARE READILY AVAILABLE TO PROVIDE PUBLIC PARATRANSIT SERVICE
IN THE CITY OF SANTA CLARITA
WHEREAS, Santa Clarita Transit is the agency authorized to provide public Paratransit
service in the City of Santa Clarita; and
WHEREAS, Public outreach efforts have been made and no local private non-profit
agencies interested in applying for Fiscal Year 2004/2005 Federal Transit Administration (FTA)
Section 5310 grant funds have been identified.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Santa Clarita does hereby resolve
as follows: No private non-profit agencies are readily available to provide public paratransit
service in the City of Santa Clarita.
SECTION 1. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 27`h day of April, 2004.
