HomeMy WebLinkAbout2005-06-14 - AGENDA REPORTS - LMD CONTR RENEWALS (2)CONSENT CALENDAR DATE: SUBJECT: DEPARTMENT: Agenda Item: -13 .- CITY OF SANTA CLARITA AGENDA REPORT City Manager Approval: Item to be presented by: June 14, 2005 Nancy Delange LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE DISTRICTS FISCAL YEAR 2005-2006 RENEWAL OF LANDSCAPE CONTRACTS Administrative Services RECOMMENDED ACTION City Council authorize the continuation of contracts for maintenance and inspection of the LMD's, and for routine and emergency repairs/replacements within these districts, as described in the attached contract detail sheet, contingent on the adoption of the proposed 2005-2006 Fiscal Year budget. BACKGROUND City Council has previously reviewed and approved the awarding of multi-year maintenance and inspection contracts for the various landscape maintenance districts listed in the attachment to this agenda report. The landscape maintenance contracts are two-year contracts, with three additional one-year options. As a procedural matter, expenditure authorization must be granted for the fiscal year, beginning July 1, 2005. ALTERNATIVE ACTIONS Other direction as determined by the City Council. FISCAL IMPACT Landscape Maintenance District expenses are funded through annual assessments. Funds for these expenditures have been included in the adopted 2005-2006 budget in Landscape District Account Nos. 2901-8001 through 2931-8029.
