LEE PARKWAY IN THE CITY OF SANTA CLARITA DEPARTMENT: Planning and Economic Development RECOMMENDED ACTION City Council adopt an ordinance entitled AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA CLARITA APPROVING ZONE CHANGE 04-001 (MASTER CASE 04-287) TO CHANGE THE SOUTHERN 18.6 ACRES OF THE 33 -ACRE PROJECT SITE FROM COMMERCIAL NEIGHBORHOOD (CN) TO RESIDENTIAL MEDIUM HIGH (RMH) LOCATED AT THE NORTHEAST AND NORTHWEST CORNER OF ROBERT C. LEE PARKWAY AND GOLDEN VALLEY ROAD IN THE CITY OF SANTA CLARITA. BACKGROUND On June 28, 2005, the City Council adopted a Mitigated Negative Declaration and approved Master Case 04-287 consisting of General Plan Amendment 04-002, Tentative Tract Map 61811, Conditional Use Permit 04-023 and Hillside Review 04-006. The applicant proposes to develop 166 detached condominium units in a gated community on three lots. In addition, the City Council introduced an ordinance to change the zoning designation of 18.6 acres of the project site from Commercial Neighborhood (CN) to Residential Medium High (RMH). At the June 28, 2005, meeting the City Council passed the ordinance to a second reading for tonight's meeting. Adopted: os -ice ALTERNATIVE ACTIONS Other action as determined by the City Council. FISCAL IMPACT No fiscal impact will result from the adoption of the ordinance. LEE PARKWAY AND GOLDEN VALLEY ROAD IN THE CITY OF SANTA CLARITA by the following vote: AYES: Weste, Kellar, Ferry, Smyth NOES: None ABSENT: McLean A certified copy of the complete text of the ordinance is posted and may be read in the City Clerk's Office, 23920 Valencia Boulevard, Suite 304, Santa Clarita, and/or a copy may be obtained from that office.
