HomeMy WebLinkAbout2005-07-12 - RESOLUTIONS - STATE WORKERS COMP INS (2)RESOLUTION NO.:05-88 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA CLARTTA, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING APPLICATION TO THE DIRECTOR OF INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS, STATE OF CALIFORNIA FOR A CERTIFICATE OF CONSENT TO SELF -INSURE WORKERS' COMPENSATION LIABILITIES WHEREAS, at a meeting of the City Council of the City of Santa Clarita, a local government organized and existing under the laws of the State of California, held on the 12th day of July 2005, the following resolution was adopted: NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Santa Clarita does hereby resolve as follows: SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized and empowered to make application to the Director of Industrial Relations, State of California, for a Certificate of Consent to Self-hisure Workers' Compensation liabilities on behalf of the City of Santa Clarita and to execute any and all documents required for such application.
