RECOMMENDED ACTION
City Council approve and accept the Valencia Summit Paseo Lighting Project, direct the City
Clerk to file the Notice of Completion, and direct staff to release the 10% retention balance
($11,357) 35 days after the attached Notice of Completion is recorded, provided that no stop
notices as provided by law have been filed.
BACKGROUND
The FY 05-06 adopted CIP budget included the Summit Paseo Lighting Project. The purpose of
the project was to illuminate some of the darker portions of the Summit Community's natural
area paseo system and provide an enhanced recreational opportunity to the paseo users. The
project was completed on June 7, 2006, and the lights are fully operational.

Other action as determined by the City Council.
FISCAL IMPACT
The total cost for project T1009401 is $113,568.00.
