A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA CLARITA, CALIFORNIA, VACATING THE RIGHT TO RESTRICT
RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION WITHIN AN AREA OF LOT 83 DEDICATED TO
THE CITY OF SANTA CLARITA BY TRACT MAP NO. 52986
IN THE CITY OF SANTA CLARITA
WHEREAS, it was determined the right to restrict residential construction on a small
portion of Lot 83 be vacated so that the lot line between Lot 83 and Lot 33 of Tract Map
No. 52986, located between Newhall Ranch Road and Windward Lane in the Bridgepo.t area,
can be adjusted to match the landscape improvements; and
WHEREAS, under Chapter 4, Summary Vacation, of Part 3 of Division 9 of the Streets
and Highways Code of the State of California, no public hearing is required and no public
hearing was held.
THEREFORE, pursuant to the provisions of Section 8334 of Part 3 of Division 9 of the
Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, the City Council of the City of Santa
Clarita, California, does resolve, declare, determine, and order as follows:
SECTION 1. That it is hereby found and determined that the right to restrict residential
construction in small area on Lot 83 recorded on Tract Map No. 52986 is terminated and
abandoned as described on Exhibit "A" and shown on Exhibit `B" attached hereto and
incorporated herein by this reference, which real property located in the City of Santa Clarita,
County of Los Angeles, State of California, is no longer needed for present or prospective use
based on the fact that this area needs to be vacated so that the lot line between lot 83 and lot 33
can be adjusted to match the landscape improvements.
SECTION 2. That within the portion of the easement to be vacated, no public utility
facilities exist that would be affected by the vacation.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk of the City of Santa Clarita is instructed to record the
certified original resolution in the office of the Registrar -Recorder of the County of Los Angeles,
at which time the easement vacated will no longer be a public service easement.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.

A portion of Lot 83 of Tract No. 52986, in the City of Santa Clarita, as shown on a Map recorded
in Book 1247 at Pages 80 through 86 inclusive of Maps, in the office of the County Recorder,
County of Los Angeles, State of California, being described as follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of said Lot 83; thence along the south line of said Lot 83,
lst South 89°13'15" East 124.78 feet to a point being on the northwesterly line of
Windward Lane as shown on said Map, said point being the beginning of a non -
tangent curve concave southeasterly having a radius of 52.00 feet, a radial line to
said point bears North 29°37'25" West; thence along said northwesterly line,
2nd Northeasterly through a central angle of 13°52'02" an arc length of 12.59 feet;
thence leaving said northwesterly line,
3`d North 15°4523" West 5.22 feet; thence,
4d' North 89°13'15" West 128.66 feet to the northwesterly line of said Lot 83; thence
along said northwesterly line,
5th South 40°32'37" West 9.67 feet; thence,
6th South 2.57 feet to the Point Of Beginning.
