1. FORMATION OF OPEN SPACE PRESERVATION DISTRICT — Consideration of the
proposed formation of the Open Space Preservation District in the City of Santa Clarita.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Adopt a resolution forming the City of Santa Clarita Open
Space Preservation District; create fund 358 (Open Space Preservation District Fund);
increase revenue account 358-4023.001 (Special Assessments) by $1,556,100; and
appropriate $4,000 to expenditure account 12592-5161.001 for the FY 07-08 levy of
assessments.
