BACKGROUND The League of California Cities 2008 Annual Conference will be held September 24-27, 2008, in Long Beach. An important part of this conference is the Annual Business Meeting, which is scheduled for the morning of September 27, 2008. Per the League of California Cities bylaws, a City's voting delegate and up to two alternates must be designated by the City Council.
