BACKGROUND The Santa Clarita Valley Sanitation District (formerly known as County Sanitation District 26 and 32) provides wastewater treatment services within the District's service area. To provide wastewater treatment service to property located outside of the District's service area, the boundary must be expanded through the annexation process. As part of this process, a tax -sharing resolution to provide the required funding to the Sanitation District is adopted by the public agency responsible for providing services to the subject property. Local agencies receiving an apportionment of property tax from the annexing area must determine the amount of tax revenues to be exchanged between the affected agencies. Each percentage listed below is the annual tax increment attributable to the land area involved in the corresponding annexation and will be transferred to the Santa Clarita Valley Sanitation District: • 1.0073289 for Annexation 1013 • 1.0084287 for Annexation 1015 e 1.0249319 for Annexation 1021 eesa • U'- iCeso .
