All Commissioners were present, with the
exception of Chair Diane Trautman who arrived
at 5:50 p.m.

exception of Commissioners Ed Redd and Matt
Halliday.
All Commissioners were present.
Mayor Weste led the flag salute.
ITEM 1 FISCAL YEAR 2010-2011 BUDGET — Ken Pulskamp, City Manager, outlined the
proposed budget and the City's fiscal status and outlook.
Council / Planning Commission / Parks, Recreation and Community Services Commission,
and Arts Commission members questions, concerns and comments included: the amount of
funds that the State has already taken and the possibility of the State taking funds from
unanticipated sources; concerns with the budget for public safety and the possibility of
increased cost; the question regarding the completion of currently funded projects; working
with the Economic Development Corporation to identify projects that would be a benefit to
all; the possibility of public grants being cut; having the fortitude to create the Arts
Commission in these economic times, and obtaining private industry sponsorships for art
programs; and how fortunate the City is to be able to maintain staff and the need to continue
to do so.
No comments were made by the public.
Mayor Weste adjourned the meeting at 6:20 p.m.
