HomeMy WebLinkAbout2010-08-24 - RESOLUTIONS - APPROPRIATE FUNDS FY 2010 (2)RESOLUTION NO. 10-66 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA CLARITA, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING CONTINUED APPROPRIATED FUNDS FROM FISCAL YEAR 2009-2010 TO FISCAL YEAR 2010-2011 AND . MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE AMOUNT BUDGETED WHEREAS, a proposed annual budget for the City of Santa Clarita for the fiscal year, commencing July 1, 2010, and ending June 30, 2011, was submitted to the City Council and is on file in the City Clerk's Office, and WHEREAS, proceedings for adoption of said budget were duly taken; and WHEREAS, the City Council has made certain revisions, corrections, and modifications to said proposed budget; and WHEREAS, the City Manager has caused the proposed document to be corrected to reflect the changes ordered by the City Council; and WHEREAS, funds were appropriated yet unexpended on various operational and capital projects for Fiscal Year 2009-2010; and WHEREAS, these funds must be continued into the subsequent fiscal year to complete appropriations previously authorized. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Santa Clarita does hereby resolve as follows: SECTION 1. The foregoing recitals are true and correct, and the City Council hereby so finds and determines. SECTION 2. The attachments hereto and included herein by Resolution are adopted as the Continued Appropriations of the City of Santa Clarita for fiscal year commencing July 1, 2009, and ending June 30, 2010, and will thus become part of the adopted budget for fiscal year commencing July 1, 2010, and ending June 30, 2011. SECTION 3. There is hereby appropriated to each account set forth in said budget, described hereto as Exhibit A and made a part hereof, the sum shown for each account in the adopted budget for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2010, and ending June 30, 2011, and the City Manager is authorized and empowered to expend such sum for the purpose of such account.
