Home My WebLink About2015-01-27 - AGENDA REPORTS - COUNCIL CMTE APPTS (2)Agenda Item: 14 CITY OF SANTA CLARITA AGENDA REPORT NEW BUSINESS CITY MANAGER APPROVAL:✓ DATE: January 27, 2015 SUBJECT: COUNCIL COMMITTEE APPOINTMENTS DEPARTMENT: Administrative Services PRESENTER: Mayor McLean RECOMMENDED ACTION City Council review, discuss, make changes to, and approve the City Council Committee Appointments list for 2015; direct the City Clerk to update the City's Form 806 based on the appointments made; delegate the City Manager as signatory on said form; and direct the City Clerk to place updated Form 806 on the City's website. BACKGROUND On an annual basis, the City Council updates the Council Committee Appointments List. Mayor McLean transmitted a memo to each Councilmember with the 2014 Council Committee Appointments list for discussion at this time. Additionally, as the City is no longer a member of the Eco -Rapid Transit Authority, it would be appropriate for the City Council to consider removing this organization from the portion of the Committee Appointment List which encompasses Joint Powers Authorities. ALTERNATIVE ACTION Other action as directed by the City Council. FISCAL IMPACT None by this action.
